
On Saturday, February 1st, the Federal March of Antifascist and Antiracist Pride will take place, starting at 4:00 PM. Although it will be held in several cities across the country, the epicenter will be in Buenos Aires. The march is organized by LGBT+ groups in response to the statements made by Javier Milei at the Economic Forum in Davos.
In the City of Buenos Aires, street closures and a police operation will be implemented. Starting at 2:00 PM, traffic will be stopped to allow the installation of the main truck in Plaza de Mayo, and from 4:00 PM, circulation will be interrupted on the side streets between Congreso and Casa Rosada. There will be police presence two blocks from the march, particularly on Avenida 9 de Julio, and traffic will be limited in the vicinity of Congreso only via Entre Ríos. Additionally, it was reported that Plaza de Mayo will be fenced off, but free circulation will be allowed on Defensa and Reconquista. It is expected that the dispersal will begin at 8:00 PM, at which point control will pass to the Federal Police.
The call will extend to several provinces across the country, replicating the mobilization in different regions. On social media, users have created an interactive map with the main concentration points to facilitate participation in the march.
